Guest Blog – The Big Garden Birdwatch 2017

The Big Garden Birdwatch is the largest bird survey in the world. Last year, more than 500,000 people took part, and in the process, recorded over 8 million birds.

Since 1979, the Big Garden Birdwatch has evolved from a children’s event into the huge event we have each year. The data collected over 40 years by the British public means the RSPB can develop a snapchat of what our nation’s bird climate is like.

When is the Big Garden Birdwatch 2017?

This Big Garden Birdwatch takes place this weekend! And it couldn’t be easier to get involved

This year the Big Garden Birdwatch takes place on the 28-30th of January, and it couldn’t be easier to get involved. This is why Kennedy Wild Bird Food have created this handy infographic that shows what you can do to participate

Hope you enjoy!

Obviously a guest blog is something I’ve not featured here before, but despite the fact it’s come from a commercial organisation I like the infographic and was happy to share it.

For ‘full disclosure’ I haven’t received anything from Kennedy Wild Bird Foods, either directly or in-kind, I’m sharing this purely because I was asked if I would, and I like the content.
